The role of the EU-Africa Business Forum receives pride of place in the Joint EU-Africa Strategy (JEAS) and references to ‘civil society’ abound among the actors envisaged to bring into effect the draft "Action Plan”.

The highlights of interactions between the Forum and other key actors are as follows:

1. The EU-Africa Business Forum holds regular forums.
   
2. The EU-Africa Business Forum was invited to speak at the 2nd EU-Africa Summit in Lisbon.
